R. L. Polk & Co. Responds to Market Needs With Enhanced Polk Cross Sell Product


SAN FRANCISCO, CA. (February 8, 2008) – R. L. Polk & Co. today announced expanded features to its Polk Cross Sell suite of reports. Driven by dealer feedback, Polk has developed and released new enhancements to their highly regarded and utilized product offering.

In just five years, the Polk Cross Sell report has established a reputation as the industry standard for providing dealers across the country with the most accurate and easy-to-use registration reporting available. The product offering facilitates valuable features including competitive benchmarking, market share analysis and inventory optimization. The latest improvements build upon this foundation by delivering more informational value while simplifying its use.

Some of the highlights associated with the latest Polk Cross Sell enhancements include:

  • A graphical executive summary that simplifies interpretation while delivering more critical market performance results than before.
  • Twelve month averages and variance calculations that eliminate the need for users to perform calculations to identify important market trends.
  • Dealer-defined model year range on used vehicle report versions to remove older vehicles many dealers don’t consider to be viable sales opportunities.
  • Private sale filter on a used vehicle report that isolates dealer-sold units allowing dealers to focus on true opportunities.
  • Electronic delivery option to accelerate shipment and facilitate report sharing and storage.

Following last year’s success at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention, Polk will conduct Polk Cross Sell workshops at the 2008 event. These sessions offer practical applications of the report results to answer key questions pertaining to dealer business.
