President, CARFAX
Richard (Dick) Raines is president of CARFAX, the leading provider of vehicle history information in North America. Raines is primarily involved with the management and growth of CARFAX, as well as key e-commerce initiatives underway at R. L. Polk & Co.
Before joining CARFAX in 1991, Raines was chief operating officer of Claritas, a leading U.S. target market demographics company. During his tenure, he managed the integration of several information business acquisitions, as well as the development and successful market introduction of several key new information products. Prior to working with Claritas, Mr. Raines was employed at MCI. Among other responsibilities, he managed the direct marketing program for a number of key consumer and business products and services.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. |
