Stephen Polk, Chairman, President and CEO of R. L. Polk & Co., heads the organization which is the leading global provider of advanced information services and statistical reporting for the automotive industry. Automobile manufacturers across the globe turn to Polk’s Intelligence and Insight to help them track vehicles and vehicle trends.

Polk has held various positions throughout the organization until he was elected president in 1990. He added the title of Chief Operating Officer two years later and in 1994, was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his tenure, Stephen has focused on preparing the company for future success. He restructured the organization around customers’ needs and accelerated the development of new products and services. By exiting less profitable businesses and streamlining operations, he has sharpened the company’s focus—to be the number one provider of information solutions for the automotive marketplace.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Denison University.
